Pluck Away My Beauty: Part 1

Pluck my dainty petals,

Drop me on the ground, near your earth.

Sweep me from the ground,

try to assemble me back together.

Tearing away my beauty,

that I so despairingly try to keep.

Until I’m stepped on

and scraped away from the grounds,

through which my origins seep.
